What We Do

Educate

HOAPE provides non-partisan voter education throughout the state to educate and empower citizens on their right to vote, how to vote and the democratic process. HOAPE does not conduct voter registration or participate in lobbying activities.

Organize & Mobilize

HOAPE's efficient leadership and experience in grassroots organizating and mobilization allows it to support communities through education, advocacy and their personal autonomy to pursue the necessary courses of action to achieve the changes they seek that will benefit themselves, their families and their communties.

Build Capacity

Through our advocacy, outreach and community engagement efforts, we build capacity by developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources communities need to survive, adapt, sustain and thrive.

Attain Power & Equity

By educating, building capacity, advocacy, community outreach and supporting citizens with enhancing and increasing voter engagement, civic participation, HOAPE empowers communities to achieve the equity they rightly deserve.
